We remove the cream with a spoon, and from the remaining jelly (essentially sour milk) for 15-20 minutes, cottage cheese is cooked on the smallest fire (precipitates at a temperature of about 70 ° C). As soon as the mixture has cooled, we remove the liquid through a fine sieve, and the curd is ready.

Or you can just put the yogurt on a waffle towel and wait until everything drains (5 hours), you get cottage cheese with sourness. Cream can be added to ready-made cottage cheese for fat content.

Today we will make homemade cottage cheese from store milk. This is the easiest and fastest recipe that everyone will definitely succeed. Pour the milk into a saucepan and add one tablespoon of sour cream to the milk, close the saucepan with a lid. Just leave the milk in the room at room temperature.

It’s just a miracle, after 1 day all the milk became like jelly – this is called curdled milk (sour milk). Yogurt can also be eaten, it is a very tasty product. In order to make a simple cottage cheese, I will show you the simplest recipe that you can find. Just take a knife and cut this jelly into small pieces. This will help remove excess fluid. In this simple recipe, we will not boil the cottage cheese, but only remove the liquid from the sour milk.

So, we take a sieve (colander) and a waffle towel, put several layers of the towel in the sieve and put our jelly (curdled milk) on this structure. So the liquid will flow from below, you can put some kind of plate, or you can just leave the structure to drain over the sink.

After 5-6 hours, the curd becomes quite dry. This flowing liquid, by the way, is also edible, some people love it very much. And now we got a very tasty cottage cheese after draining all the liquid, the cottage cheese turned out to be solid like a real one from the store. But cottage cheese will become even tastier if you put it in the refrigerator overnight so that you can eat it for breakfast the next morning. Amazing cottage cheese! I was so happy that cottage cheese turns out very well even from store-bought milk. If you have access to natural cow’s milk, you will get much better results!

To summarize: this is the easiest recipe, you just leave the milk with a spoonful of sour cream at room temperature for 1 day, and then simply remove the excess liquid. So simple! By the way, you can not use sour cream at the first stage; instead, you can put a piece of black bread or a spoonful of yogurt. Everything that will help turn milk into curdled milk (ferment milk). You can also leave plain milk without additives, but this may not work as quickly and efficiently if you use store-bought milk.
